Hello,
solving a hypermesh model in HyperXtrude leads to an internal error. The only additional information is "PH02246melem.ff". It happens in the second time iteration, log says:
***** Time Step: 2 of 35, Step Size = 0.25 sec *****
***** Nonlinear Iteration Number : 9 of 25 *****
TEMPERATURE CALCULATION STEP ----------------------------
VELOCITY CALCULATION STEP -------------------------
**** SOLVER ERROR STOP ****
Any idea, where to look, to get that working again?
Thanks,
J.

I had a similar error <ph00635assm-dri> I found that that there were zero diagonals in the matrix... I was able to find the most likely cause... five 3D mesh elemnts got deleted while i was fixing the boundary conditions... So, may be u need to re-examine ur mesh.. thats my guess (I m a newbie too!!) Zero diagonals resulted, probably, because element connectivity in the matrix could not be established due to the missing elements.. agian a wild guess!!

Check if Container and Billet elements are connected. If they are, then detach them. Make sure you have correct deformation type for the tooling.
